Sealers and Waxes for Decorative Concrete

        Home - decorative concrete

Were you looking for a decorative concrete or clear decorative concrete.

After you have your surface colored and hardened, or whatever you chose, the final step is to seal it. You can have an invisible seal, transparent if you like the way just the stamping and coloring turned out, or you can have it colored. The seals are waterproof and also can prevent damage like gouging or staining. They can increase the depth and shine of your floor, if that’s the kind of thing you’re looking for, for instance in a “wooden floor” or they can help accentuate the color from chemical staining or hardened color.

If you’re sealing an indoor surface probably suited to bare feet and slippers, a good buffing with sealing wax should be good enough, but if it is, say, behind a workshop that is going to see some pretty heavy use, a good hard, industrial sealant would probably be best for you.
