About decorative concrete.

The reason concrete is so often used in flooring, among other things, is it is darn near immortal. A concrete floor will outlast a tile floor by years and years, same with carpet, or vinyl pads. They are subject to cracking, tearing, staining, and often being notoriously hard to clean completely. Because of how fragile they are (compared to concrete anyway) these types of floor covers have to be replaced on at least a semi regular basis.

Are you considering putting in a new patio, or refinishing the den? Well, Concrete Finishing Is a great way to go, in either case. How about upgrading an existing deck? Decorative concrete finishes can do any of these, as easily as the other.

One of the biggest points of this method of flooring is that it is so versatile. You can set it up to resemble almost anything. If you wanted something dark to fit a “gothic” architectural motif, no problem, or maybe something to look like a stone pathway to fit in with your jungle themed pool, again, no problem at all. You can even, to some extent, make your floor a work of art, using color and shape to your heart’s content.
